Committed to making original and high quality hand-crafted jewelry. River Wolfe and her partner Jonny Lifeson work in their studio in Columbus, Ohio. Their jewelry is a collaboration of River’s handcrafted polymer clay beads and pendants with Jonny’s skilled beadwork, together their jewelry makes a beautiful and unique piece of jewelry art.
River began beading over 20 years ago when she was in recovery from a serious hiking accident. She honed her skills making gifts for friends and family, when she took a class where she learned to make polymer clay beads, she realized that she could customize her jewelry with her own handmade beads.
River uses many techniques as she makes her beads and pendants, polymer clay can be carved, painted, layered, silk-screened, and stamped; her clay work is unique and illustrates what can be achieved when this medium is stretched and explored thoroughly. Her work has won numerous awards at regional art festivals in Ohio and has been featured in several publications.
